The Walking Wounded

We're all a little wounded aren't we? Everyone has some emotional wounds from the past. Most of us walk around, carrying those wounds, thinking that it has to be that way.

Maybe you've been carrying your wounds for so long that you've started to operate on auto-pilot, feeling like a zombie, all the while the people or things that hurt you are eating at your brain.

But what if it didn't have to be that way? What if there was a cure for the walking wounded zombie thing? (Guess what? There is!)

I'm not going to lie and say that it's easy to let go of your wounds. Sometimes, it's not. But the good news is that it's relatively simple to do so, when you're ready.

My process for healing old wounds is called "The LAF Process" and it's simply this:

  1. Love
  2. Acceptance
  3. Forgiveness

For whatever wound you're ready to heal, that's all you have to do -- just apply love, acceptance, and forgiveness, not only to the person who hurt you, but to yourself.

And then you won't feel like a zombie anymore!
